Import supplier products into Shop-Script

PIMPORT imports supplier products into Shop-Script and updates prices and availability using your settings. You select the categories and pricing rules. We check your SKU and warehouse structure before installation, especially when one product contains several sizes or colours with separate stock levels.

8…12 · Webasyst · a driver for this platform is written and in use

What it does in your store

Writes into the store itself

Not through an import file: the program writes products, categories, prices and stock straight into the store database, the same way the admin panel does.

Keeps prices current

On the schedule you set. The supplier changed a price — the store changed it too, without anyone opening the admin panel.

Hides what is gone

An item that disappeared from the supplier feed is hidden, not deleted: the card, its address and its statistics wait for it to come back.

Adds new items

Into the category you mapped. Categories the supplier added later wait for your confirmation.

Integration notes

The ready-made integration covers Shop-Script 8…12; verified on 12.7. For versions 4…7 and stores with customisations we estimate the adaptation separately.

A different engine version is not a dead end: the driver is adapted to it. Send your store version — we confirm what works before any payment.

If you have Shop-Script 4–7

The ready-made integration is built for Shop-Script 8–12 and tested on 12.7. Connecting versions 4–7 and customised stores is estimated separately. Send your store version and a sample feed — we will tell you the scope of the adaptation before any work starts.

What reaches your store

You choose the supplier categories, map them to your store and set your pricing rules. PIMPORT applies these settings when importing products and running subsequent updates.

Product and SKU A new product is created with one SKU; an existing one is found by that SKU
Price Updated on the SKU that was found; the product totals are recalculated
Availability Switches the SKUs of the product and then the product itself
Quantity The quantity from the connection settings, not the supplier’s exact stock
Warehouse On import the first warehouse of the store is used; supplier warehouses are not mapped automatically
Category, texts and photos The category you mapped, the product texts and images
Behaviour of the current driver for the Shop-Script 8–12 branch, read from the code and checked by automated tests.

How an existing product is found

The product is found by the SKU article. Keep the supplier prefix and the identifier unchanged between runs. When one product holds several sizes or colours with separate stock, we agree that scenario before installation.

The quantity assigned to an available product comes from the connection settings; it is not the supplier’s exact stock count. Independent stock per size or colour is agreed separately.

How a supplier is connected

We answer within one business day. Reviewing a feed does not commit you to a purchase.
01
Send your feed

Your store URL, the platform, and a link to the feed or the supplier website.

02
See the result

We'll show 20 products from your feed and quote the connection cost.

03
Approve the installation

We'll install the program, connect the supplier and set up the updates.

04
Work with your catalogue

Products, prices and stock update on a schedule with the rules you chose.

What is needed

Access to hosting and database FTP or SSH and the store database. The program is installed next to the store, on your own hosting.
A supplier feed XML, YML, CSV or Excel. If there is no feed at all, data is collected from the supplier site — that costs more.
One cron job Set up as part of the installation. Ordinary shared hosting is enough.

What it costs

What's included →

What you pay for once

One-time payment
Base program
$100 one-time

Installation on your hosting, the update schedule set up, the free plugins and a month of support.

Includes connecting one supplier in XML, YML or CSV.

Connecting suppliers
XML, YML, CSV from $35 Each supplier after the one included in the program.
Excel from $70 XLS and XLSX workbooks. Sheets, merged cells and captions instead of headers are unpicked separately.
Data from a site with no feed from $150 There is no feed at all: the data is collected from the pages of the supplier catalogue.
Unusual structure quoted after review We'll quote the cost after reviewing the source and before any work starts.

Plugins: the cost is shown in the catalogue entry for each plugin. Paid plugins are a one-time payment.

A sample starting cost
The program and the one included supplier $100
Extra plugins None chosen
Monitoring Not chosen
Starting total $100 one-time

An example for a supplier in XML, YML or CSV. For Excel and sources without a feed we'll quote after reviewing them.

Monitoring — optional

If you need changes in your sources watched, add monitoring. Its terms and cost are stated separately from the program and the one-time installation.

What is checked A nightly check of the source: whether the feed is reachable and whether its structure changed.
Which sources Suppliers connected to the program, including those whose data is collected from a website.
What is included Repairing the collection rules when the supplier site changes. Rebuilding for a new feed format is quoted separately.
Cost $3 a month per supplier, or $15 a month per store with all its suppliers.
Connecting through the wizard $15 one-time, the first month of monitoring included. This is another way to connect a source, not an addition to the regular connection.
After you switch it off The rules stay with you and the import does not stop.

Monitoring is not required for the program to work, and it does not automatically fix every change in a source structure.
